Folate Test

Folate, also known as Vitamin B9, is essential for DNA
synthesis and repair, red blood cell formation, and
proper brain function. A deficiency can lead to anemia
and neural tube defects in newborns. The Folate test
measures the concentration of folic acid in the blood
to detect deficiencies.
